Video Output Settings
When you set up your PS4™ system, you might need to configure the output for the HDMI OUT port. By default, this is set to automatically match the TV you connect. To configure settings yourself, select (Settings) > [Sound and Screen] > [Video Output Settings].
- Resolution
Set the resolution. - TV Size
You can set the screen size to match the 3D-compatible TV in use.
This appears only when you connect a 3D-compatible TV. - RGB Range
Change this only when you use an HDMI device that does not send RGB range information correctly. - HDR
You’ll experience greater dynamic range with an HDR (high dynamic range) TV and compatible applications. - Adjust HDR
This lets you enjoy compatible games with optimized video quality when connected to an HDR TV. - Deep Color Output
Change this setting only if video is not displayed properly. - Supersampling Mode
Select the checkbox for [Enable Supersampling Mode] to improve video quality in some games when connected to TVs with resolutions of 2K or lower.
This setting is available only on some PS4™ systems. - Video Output Information
View information such as resolution and color format.
